This interdisciplinary major 在生物化学, administered jointly by the 化学 and 生物学 Departments, provides the student with a broad background in biochemistry and related courses in chemistry and biology. This major is intended for those interested in the more chemical and molecular aspects of the life sciences.

先进的位置: 生物化学 majors who have a 5 on the 生物学 AP exam in their senior year may choose to bypass the 2000-level lecture courses (BIOL2000 and BIOL2010). These students will begin the major with BIOL3040 Cell 生物学 and take 6 credits of additional biology courses, 3000级或以上.

Approvals for 生物化学 Major 课程 Taken Abroad; 电子游戏软件 Summer 课程

To be considered as a possible substitute for a 生物化学 major elective, a course must be a second level course with published prerequisites and not be an introductory level course or a course intended for professional study (or for non-biochemistry majors).
注意: 生物化学 major required courses offered through the 电子游戏软件 Summer School will be applied to the 生物化学 major as regular academic-year electives with the same catalog number.
